Every church has a story, but ours begins with a burden placed upon a heart by God.
Living Foundation Church was not established simply to hold weekly services or create another religious institution. It was born from a deep conviction that many people long for more than religion. They long for a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our founder recognized a growing need for a church where people could encounter God’s presence, understand His Word, experience authentic Christian community, and become mature disciples who influence the world for Christ.
Just as a building depends upon the strength of its foundation, every believer’s life depends upon being firmly established in Christ. This conviction became the cornerstone upon which Living Foundation Church was founded.
We believe that when people are firmly rooted in Jesus Christ, families are strengthened, communities are transformed, and future generations are blessed.
Although every great work of God begins with humble beginnings, we are confident that He delights in establishing healthy foundations before expanding influence.
Today, Living Foundation Church continues to pursue that same calling: to build disciples whose lives stand firm upon Christ regardless of life’s storms.

To know Jesus means
- A personal relationship with Jesus: understanding His heart through the Scriptures, obedience and surrender to His teachings, and transformation of life by the Holy Spirit.
- A calling to reveal Christ to other people.
To make Him known means
“When someone truly knows Jesus, it becomes practically impossible to keep Him hidden.”
- Proclaiming the gospel
- Living a life that reflects His character
- Serving others with His love
- Pointing people to Him through words and actions
“We cannot truly reveal Christ to others unless we keep growing in knowing Him. We know Him through relationship. We make Him known through love, witness and discipleship.”

Bring them in
Invite and welcome people into the community of faith so they can encounter God and feel that they belong.
Sit them down
Help them settle into the life of the church by grounding them in teaching, fellowship and spiritual foundations.
Bring them up
Disciple and nurture them so they grow in maturity, in character and in their understanding of Christ.
Send them out
Commission and release them to serve, minister and share the gospel and their gifts in the local church, the city and the world.

Apostle Solomon Ansah
Apostle Solomon Ansah was born and raised in Ghana. He gave his life to Jesus Christ at the age of 14 and soon answered God’s call into ministry. Under the mentorship of seasoned men of God, he developed a deep passion for spiritual warfare, deliverance ministry, and advancing the Kingdom of God.
At the age of 19, he enrolled in Bible College, where he graduated as the top student in his class. He later continued his theological education at Action International Bible College (now Dominion Theological Seminary) in Accra, Ghana. During this period, he was mentored and trained for two years by Archbishop Nicolas Duncan-Williams, whose leadership greatly influenced his ministry.
In February 1997, just six months after graduating from Bible College, Apostle Solomon obeyed the leading of the Holy Spirit and relocated from Ghana to Côte d’Ivoire as a missionary. From April 2000 to August 2022, he founded and pastored Living Foundation Evangelical Church, establishing 8 local branches in and around Abidjan. During this time, he also founded The Nehemiah School of Ministry (EMIN), through which he trained, equipped, and mentored countless pastors and church leaders.
He also served as National President, responsible for Advancement, for Haggai Institute in Côte d’Ivoire (Abidjan Chapter) and as the national representative of International Gospel Outreach (IGO-UK) in Côte d’Ivoire.
Over the years, God has opened doors for him to minister internationally, where the Lord has used him powerfully to bring healing, deliverance, restoration, and spiritual transformation to countless lives.
In August 2022, the Ansah family relocated to North America to continue their missionary calling. Today, Apostle Solomon serves as the Founder and Lead Pastor of Living Foundation Church in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where he continues to preach the Gospel, equip believers, and raise leaders for the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Armande Ansah
An accountant by profession, Pastor Armande is also a pastor, a gifted prophetic minister, coach, and mentor to many women and married couples. She and Apostle Solomon have been married for over 27 years and are blessed with four children.
